A deep yellow in the glass. The wine presents a lot of different aromas to the nose: ripe bananas, mango, coconut, thyme. The wine is very present at the palate. Creamy with a stimulating minerality, this wine features great acidity allied with a lot of softness.

The team of Hugos – in fact, Sommelier Michael Köhle, Maître Olaf Rode and Chef Thomas Kammeier – visited the Wine Estate of family Dreissigacker in Rheinhessen, Bechtheim to convince themselves of the fantastic wines. Dreissigacker is one of the most famous wine-grower families in Germany. The idea of an exclusive special edition evolved from a longlasting, trustful cooperation with gourmet restaurant Hugos.
The development of the Wine Estate may be watched enthusiastically. Look forward to a great year with excellently balanced wines for every season.

To get from Berlin to Bechtheim in Rheinhessen is a bit hard but it is really worth it.
This year in February - on Valentine's Day - we, Thomas Kammeier, maître Olaf Rode and sommelier Michael Köhle once more had the chance to assure ourselves of the fantastic quality of the whole range of the Dreissigacker Wine Estate.
Together with Jochen Dreissigacker and his adorable mother we tasted assorted, exciting and really great wines. The wines of Jochen Dreissigacker have been accompanying the dinners at Hugos for six years already. We are excited to see the Wine Estate's development. It is a great pleasure to see how our guests enjoy the wines of Jochen Dreissigacker. Look forward to perfectly balanced wines for every time and occasion.
